Witchcraft, Paganism, and Heathenry have been lifelong interests of mine, with active research and intentional practice for close to 15 years. My specific religion is the worship of Norse and Germanic deities (Heathenry), which also incorporates worldviews such as cycles of gifting, equitable friendship (and perhaps even arguments!) with holy beings, promise-keeping, appreciation for messy complexity, care for the environment, the world-affirming view of the living body as a soul in its own right, and persistent connection with the beloved dead.

My wider practice also involves old-school English and Celtic fairylore shenanigans. On occasion I offer to the Taíno goddess Atabey, Slavic deities like Mokosz and Weles, and others. I know a little about a lot of different paths, in part thanks to my past full-time job in a public shop listening to and providing resources to strangers from many different spiritual traditions or lack thereof, free of charge, when they sought advice for common magical or spiritual concerns.

Caring, reciprocal relationships are important to me, and not just with humans. As an animist, I strive to engage with others and Others as complex, real people with agency, deserving of respect. Spiritually, I have formal, oathed commitments to Loki (as of 2017), Robin Goodfellow (as of 2022), and the folkloric Jack (as of 2024), but I have important connections to a wide variety of beings.
