This ancestral line worked on car assembly lines in recent history and metalworking earlier than that. A simple #handmadepuzzle for the goddess #hel representing cycles of death and rebirth, i.e. taking a living thing like a flower apart, and putting it back together. #woodburned, #whittled to give depth, hand cut into puzzle pieces with a coping saw. Salvaged local palo verde wood (which gives it the vivid yellow color), polished with beeswax and flaxseed oil.
